If you had asked me a year ago what my favorite clothing item would be today, never in a million years would I have thought my answer would be a denim shirt. In the past I always associated a denim button-up with cowboys, farmers, or the infamous "add your inappropriate ethnic reference here tuxedo." Nothing ceases to amaze me these days, and my new found love for denim is no exception. This denim top is super cute, comfortable, and incredibly versatile. I've paired it perfectly with dark denim pants (both skinny and wide legged), tucked it into mini skirts, and atop flowy dresses. It's a fun piece to play with because like jeans, it goes with literally everything.

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for denim shirts....then again I also have a weakness for cowboys and country music, so maybe that shouldn't be a surprise. But I think the denim shirt has def come back in a big and unexpected way this year, and I love what you've done with it here!

ReplyDeleteI've been debating getting a denim shirt this season because my husband loves them and has mentioned it every time we've go out shopping this past month and come across one. But I've been holding off because I wasn't sure what I'd wear it with. Maybe I should try experimenting with one now that you've encouraged me.
